Purchasing Options Inc. has been awarded a contract with MARCH Consulting Inc. to provide procurement and contract services at the Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan (PCS) Patience Lake Minesite on the 2008 NW and SE Pipeline Injection System Expansion Project. Works will consist of fusing and installing 12 kilometers of dual containment HDPE pipe, construction of new electrical and mechanical facilities, and related civil works.

Purchasing Options Inc. will be responsible for the competitive bid process and purchase of major custom engineered mechanical, electrical, instrumentation equipment,fabricated steel products including pipe and related fittings. Purchasing Options Inc. will also be responsible for the competitive bidding process and issuing of civil, mechanical, and electrical works contracts on the project. 

March Consulting Inc. and PCS are targeting an early fall 2008 commissioning date for the NW section of the Project.

Ensuring the 'Scope of Work' is definitive and fully understood by all pertinent parties is paramount to the success of your business. We will develop 'General Terms and Conditions' and 'Special Terms and Conditions' that are fair and unencumbering to all parties.

Acting as your Agent, Purchasing Options Inc. will ensure that:

• The bidding process will be of a fair and competitive nature.
• The 'Scope of Work' (S.O.W.) will 'detail' all aspects of the works to be performed.
• All Terms and Conditions  of the Contract will be well drafted and effective in providing you with protection.
• Performance goals, milestone dates or benchmarks will be definitive.
• Ensure Contractor(s) meets all Health and Safety Regulations, maintains adequate insurance, and works to industry standard Quality Assurance Programs. 
• Pre-determined amount of damages defined in contract in case of breach.  

* Please note that we are only able to provide 'Minor Contracts Formulation' services at this juncture. We hope to provide 'Contract Administration' services in the near future.
